Copenhagen Fintech has been selected as one of 40 hubs across the world to partner up with Singapore FinTech Festival 7th-11th of December 2020 and provide great content. The World FinTech Festival at Copenhagen Fintech will be focused on impact and sustainability. We will create a full day of panels and keynotes on the 9th of December, streamed to the plus 60.000 attendees of the Singapore FinTech Festival. We also have 20 digital showcasing opportunities for Nordic fintech startups (see below if you are interested in showcasing).
The focus on sustainability and impact is natural given that the Nordics is a region of very innovative countries with a deep and cultural-based focus on sustainability. Nordic government leaders made a pledge in 2019 to be the most sustainable region by 2030, and according to the Sustainable Development Report 2020 Sweden, Denmark and Finland are the highest-ranking countries on SDG achievement. Four out of ten companies on the Corporate Knights ‘Global 100 Progress Report’ are Nordic.
The Nordic and Danish focus and strengths makes for a very fertile ground for financial technology solutions that accelerate the much-needed push towards a sustainable future
Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is the world’s largest FinTech festival and a global platform for the FinTech community comprising FinTech players, technopreneurs, policy makers, financial industry leaders, investors including private equity players and venture capitalists, and academics.
In 2019, SFF and the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) saw more than 60,000 participants from almost 140 countries and featured highlights such as the FinTech Conference, the FinTech Awards, Global FinTech Hackcelerator, Innovation Lab Crawl and Industry Networking and Workshops.
The SFF is organised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore and in collaboration with SingEx Holdings. To learn more about SFF 2020, please visit: https://www.fintechfestival.sg/ and register for tickets.
