Blockchain Workshop – From hype to reality
Blockchain has been predicted as a technology that could change the financial sector severely. So how do we turn the hype into specific value adding solutions?
In Copenhagen Fintech we have followed the development of blockchain for some years and actors within the financial sector are investigating on how to profit from the technology. Therefore, we would like to bring relevant actors with an interest and experience with blockchain to a workshop on how to take the technology to the next level on topics such as Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and smart contracts. Blockchain has been connected to a large number of areas within the financial services sector where it could be expected to have an impact. But perhaps the blockchain hype has pushed this agenda and switched the focus from where it could actually benefit the processes and solutions. The workshop will also present the latest updates from the Danish delegation in the international blockchain standardization group.
Copenhagen Fintech, the Innovation Network for Finance IT, FinansDanmark and the Alexandra Institute would like to invite you to a session on blockchain, where the aim is to take a dig deeper into the possibilities of the blockchain/distributed ledger technology and explore how to more practical in the work with blockchain and extrapolate value adding solutions from the hype. The session aims to bring relevant actors within blockchain together and discuss possible projects to initiate projects funded by the Innovation Network for Finance IT.
