SCALING SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

Interested in exploring partnership opportunities in ASEAN together with UNDP, Citi and DBS?

This program aims to bridge the stronghold of Nordic fintech startups, with scaling opportunities from our global partners with local presence in the ASEAN region. If you are a startup working to solve one or more of the six challenges, we encourage you to apply to this program. The goal of this program is to rapidly identify and prototype commercial partnerships to support the internationalization of participating startups.

Autumn 2020 challenges

  1. From ESG to SDG on SMEs - Helping financial institutions get impact (SDG) ratings/data on SMEs
  2. Accelerating decentralized finance for the 'bottom of the pyramid' - Solutions that target the bottom of the wealth pyramid
  3. From ESG to SDG for Wealth Management & Financing - Helping wealth managers, investors, lenders and others get impact metrics on firms and portfolios
  4. Financial inclusion and literacy of MSME networks - Solutions that would allow unbanked MSME’s and individuals access to financial services and path to financial prosperity
  5. Empowerments of low-income employees (HR+Fintech) - Help global corporations support their local employees with financial services and literacy
  6. Enabling deep-tier financing - Help rethink the way that financing of large corporates trickles down towards their suppliers
WHY APPLY AS A FINTECH STARTUP?

A unique opportunity to identify partnerships to scale your solution in the ASEAN region together with strong commercial partners. If selected, you will get support by top advisors and investors on how to best scale your solution into new markets. You will get access to a global network of gatekeepers that can help validate and potentially accelerate your business, as well as a comprised process to quickly prototype potential partnerships together with the challenge partners.

The program is run in three sprints and we are looking for startups within the six identified challenges that have validated their offering in a home market and are now looking to scale into ASEAN region through partnerships.

Response: Selected participants will be notified during October

Program Process: Divided into three one week long sprints, Sprint#1 in Copenhagen (November), Sprint#2 in Singapore (Q1 2021) and Sprint#3 in Copenhagen (Q1 2021)
