We’re kicking off the very first edition of Lab Learn with a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help you automate the repetitive tasks you deal with every day.

This session focuses on building your own custom AI agent using updatemate.ai. Whether it's internal reporting, investor updates, or other operational routines, 2026 is the year to stop doing them manually.

What to Expect

We’ll kick off the session with a brief welcome from Copenhagen Fintech, introducing the purpose of the Lab Learn series: to give founders practical, hands-on tools they can immediately apply in their work. This will be followed by a short introduction from Thomas Bøglund, co-founder of updatemate.ai, who will share why he built Updatemate, his connection to the Lab, and why he’s passionate about helping founders who take automation seriously. From there, we’ll explore a few concrete use cases to spark ideas before moving into the practical segment, where participants will spend 30–45 minutes actually building their own agents with support available throughout the room.

How to Prepare

To make the most of the workshop, please complete these simple steps:

1. Sign up for a free account: updatemate.ai/signup
2. Define a personal use case: pick 1–2 repetitive tasks you’d love to hand off
3. Bring access to relevant API keys or credentials (HubSpot, Intercom, e-conomic, GSuite, etc.)

A helpful question to guide your prep: If I had to be twice as effective tomorrow, which tasks on my laptop would I hand off to a trusted personal assistant?
