Januar announces launch of new Customer API

Despite being founded just over two years ago, the Copenhagen Fintech member and former Incubation Program participant has a track record of breaking records, after last May having closed the largest ever seed round in Danish history at the time. In the same month, it received the first-of-its-kind Payment Service Provider License for crypto-related payments.

Now, with the ever-evolving landscape of financial services, digital financial infrastructure has become more accessible. As such, the payment institution has now expanded its product offering with a brand-new Customer API.

With the API, Januar aims to make money flows between traditional finance and crypto financial products compliant, connectable, and easy to use. The Customer API will enable innovative web3 companies and financial institutions to interact programmatically with their payment data. Customers can also initiate payments from within their own systems, improving the scaling and automation of processes as part of customer workflows.

- We are tremendously excited to launch the Customer API. We view this launch as a first step on a journey to building open, trusted and secure access points to financial services. This is just the beginning.
